July - WOW!!!

July was a very fun and busy month for us. Right after the kids got out of school we left to go camping in Ephraim canyon. We rode four-wheelers, played in the snow, and hung out with friends and family.

Next we moved the trailer to the Camperworld in Nephi. Me and the kids stayed to play, and Joe went back to work for the week. The kids had a blast swimming, playing in the sand, and going to all the Ute Stampede stuff (parades, craft fair, and rodeo)!
Then we came home for a few days, and left for our big road trip. 6 people, 6 states, 3,000 miles, 1 truck!!!The highlight of the trip was the orca watching trip in the San Juan Islands in Washington. One whale, named DoubleStuff, came right up to the boat. We all got so excited. We also saw habor seals, bald eagles, porpoises, and many birds. The trip was about 5 hours, and worth every penny.
The kids also loved the beaches on the coast of Oregon, the Sea Lion Cave, and the Trees of Mystery in the Redwoods. We also hit a zoo and an aquarium. The drive was so beautiful, with many things to see (waterfalls, forests, rivers, rocky cliffs, and beaches).

And last, but not least Kayla turned the big 2!!

Kody clogging at Westfest! He is such a cute little mouse!

NOT SO FUN

Kayla had to have tubes put in her ears on Thursday. It was quick, but she was not happy. The hospital gave her the purple bear to take into surgery with her.
