Kason had his Kindergarten Christmas Program this morning and it was so cute!!! He was on the front row, and he sang his little heart out. We were so proud of him. Good Job Kason!
We went "tree hunting" today for the perfect Christmas tree. We found it!!! The kids were so excited to hike around in the snow and check out every tree. Kyle found this one, and we all agreed it was the perfect one for us!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! To A Great Friend - Have a Great Day!!!
Kyle and Kody participated in the Cub Scout Raingutter Regatta. They built and designed a boat, and then raced it against fellow Cub Scouts (including each other). Kody took third place with his Flaming Bobcat boat. Kyle's boat was all about Pokemon.
We had our annual "Pumpkin Party" - Complete with pumpkin pizza and pumpkin carving. The kids love this part of Halloween. Their favorite is the final lighting of the candles, to see their creations. FUN!!!
My kids were SOOOOOOOOOO excited to spend the whole weekend with the Bingham's, in Park City. It was a great getaway, to celebrate Matthew's Birthday. Thanks for the BEST weekend!!!
This is Kason's class friend, Elle the Elephant. It gets to go home with each student and stays for a few days. Elle gets to go anywhere Kason goes, and I am suppose to take pictures. Then Kason gets to make a scrapbook pages about his adventures with Elle!!!
How cute is that!!! Kason was the first to bring Elle home, and he is so excited. Elle has not left his side since he got home!
We took a trip to Silver Lake by Brighton Ski Resort. It was so beautiful with all the fall colors. The kids loved walking around the lake and climbing on the rocks. What a great family afternoon!
My mom had a girls weekend with all the girl from her side of the family. We had about 25 girls there, ranging in age form 2 to 82. We ate good food and played lots of games. It was great to see everyone again and meet new ones!
Kason has a playgroup that meets every Friday after school! They are a great group of boy, that love to have fun. This Friday was his turn to have it at our house. It was such a beautiful day, so we went to the park!
Kayla is binki free!!! I am not sure who was more attatched me or her. She is talking a tons more, and is never quiet!! She asks for one now and then, but they are all "Broken". It is so nice to not worry if I have one every time I go some where.
July was a very fun and busy month for us. Right after the kids got out of school we left to go camping in Ephraim canyon. We rode four-wheelers, played in the snow, and hung out with friends and family.
Next we moved the trailer to the Camperworld in Nephi. Me and the kids stayed to play, and Joe went back to work for the week. The kids had a blast swimming, playing in the sand, and going to all the Ute Stampede stuff (parades, craft fair, and rodeo)!
Then we came home for a few days, and left for our big road trip. 6 people, 6 states, 3,000 miles, 1 truck!!!The highlight of the trip was the orca watching trip in the San Juan Islands in Washington. One whale, named DoubleStuff, came right up to the boat. We all got so excited. We also saw habor seals, bald eagles, porpoises, and many birds. The trip was about 5 hours, and worth every penny. The kids also loved the beaches on the coast of Oregon, the Sea Lion Cave, and the Trees of Mystery in the Redwoods. We also hit a zoo and an aquarium. The drive was so beautiful, with many things to see (waterfalls, forests, rivers, rocky cliffs, and beaches).
Kody clogging at Westfest! He is such a cute little mouse!
NOT SO FUN
Kayla had to have tubes put in her ears on Thursday. It was quick, but she was not happy. The hospital gave her the purple bear to take into surgery with her.
Thanks to my friend Nora, I found the greatest blogspot for little girl hair. The site has the cutest ideas, and this is one of them. I think it is so cute!! Kayla even sat still for me to do it - Not bad for a one year old!!!
I have to admit that I went over the top on Kyle's county float for school, but we had fun doing it. That is what really counts - RIGHT!!! Kyle was given Emery county to do his 4th grade report on. He was so excited when he found out Goblin Valley was in his county. From there we found pics of him in Emery, and "Where in Emery County is Kyle Crapo?" was born!!!
We packed up the four wheelers and trailer and headed for the desert west of Delta, UT. We had the best time with friends and family. It was a little windy and cool, but the best part was there was NO bugs!
Kayla and Ryan played in the dirt and fought over shovels...
Found a lizard and he became our new friend for the weekend...
Went on the most amazing rides come rain or shine...
Picnics on the trail...
Looked for fern fossils...
And went for hikes...
We got dirty, and we got wet...but it was worth it!!!
Joe and I went to Las Vegas for a quick getaway with the Fredericksons(Thanks Guys). We had the best time. The trip was both warm and relaxing. Just what we both needed!
We went to the zoo, and it was the perfect day. It was warm and the animals were actually moving. The white alligator is back, and was actually swimming. Later we saw the tiger and he was up and about, and even got a drink for the pond. It was very exciting!!! Kason had a great time on his field trip, but Kayla wasn't so sure of all the animals.
Kody(7) finally grew enough to pass Kyle(10) in height! We knew is was going to happen. First Kody passed him in weight, and then in shoe size. Kyle always had the height, until NOW!
