St. George

We went to St George for the weekend. Kody had a clogging competition, so we decided to go and enjoy the sunshine. The weather was beautiful. We swam outside and even wore shorts. To top off the beautiful weekend Kody won 1st place on both of his dances. One dance even won overall.
Way to go Kody!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Kody had to build a simple machine - leperchaun trap for his 3rd grade class. He made a trap door. When the leprechaun opened the front door of the gold miners home, the "welcome" mat would drop open. He won 3rd place, but our tricky leprechaun got away! He did leave us a special treat.
Oh well, maybe we will catch him next year!

ATV Class

Kyle and Kody PASSED the ATV course - YAY!!! They did a great job. They both scored 92% on the written exam, and passed with flying colors on the driving. Their instructor was super nice, and the boys had a blast! They are very proud to have their "blue cards", or they like to think - drivers license for ATV's. Here are a few pics from the day!!

OUCH!!!!!

Kayla ended up at the InstaCare last night for a hurt foot/ankle.
She was playing in the garage, and tipped our folded up ladder on top of her. It landed on her ankle. She cried and cried, and would not walk on it. I wasn't sure if it was broken or not, so we were off to see the doctor.
The doctor examined her and decided it needed to be x-rayed. The conclusion was a very bruised, maybe even a sprain. NOT BROKEN!!! What a relief!
Kayla was so brave and didn't cry once at the doctor's office, and when she was done they gave her a lolli-pop and sticker. That made everthing all better!
She still has a hard time walking on it today, and it obviously still hurt!! - SAD
